Fay Smith is a writer of dark, emotionally charged novels. She currently resides in a rural area of the Northeast USA, but has lived all over the world and served in the military. Her history of travel has sparked a deep appreciation for other cultures and ways of life.

As a writer, she loves to delve into the psychological and emotional traumas that hold people back, and she writes characters who live them out before our eyes. She also likes a strong heroine; writing them to be determined and strong, even in the face of their own self-doubt and fear.

Fay currently lives with her husband, three dogs, and a cat, in a wooded area near both the beauty of the mountains and rivers.
